Water For Successful Weight Loss

Water is absolutely critical for successful weight loss.
Here’s why: The job of your kidneys is to excrete waste products from your body. However, when you don’t drink enough water, your kidneys get lazy and will give most of its unfinished work to your liver. One of the main jobs of the liver is to convert stored fat into energy and it can't perform that job efficiently if it has to do the job of the kidneys as well. Furthermore, the liver requires water in order to process fat. So, if you are dehydrated—or simply not taking in enough water every day, YOU WON’T BURN THE FAT!

However, if you drink enough water, your kidneys will stop being lazy and do its job of excreting waste products from your body. This, in turn, will allow your liver to focus on burning stored fat for energy.

Simply put, the more water you drink...

The less fat you'll store in your body

and the less water you drink...

The more fat you'll store in your body.

The frustrating issue for many individuals is that when they decide to increase their water intake, they find themselves having to go to the bathroom constantly. Stick with it! This is actually a good thing! What’s happening is that your body is flushing itself of the water it has been storing throughout all those years of being in “survival mode.” You see, if you have a lifestyle of not drinking enough water, your body perceives this as a threat, goes into survival mode and stores up as much water as it can. This excess water will often show up as swelling around the ankles, feet, hands, thighs and belly. As you continue to give your body all the water it needs, it gets rid of what it doesn’t. Once the body has been flushed, and your fluid levels balance, you would have reached what’s called the “breakthrough point.” You will resume your normal life and you won’t have to go to the bathroom as often. So, hang in there, you are cleansing and healing your body.

So, how much water does the body need? Take your body weight in pounds and divide it by 16.

Don’t make yourself sick by drinking too much water too soon. Try to drink a minimum of eight 8-ounce glasses a day. Allow me to make this easy for you: Have 2 glasses of water a half hour prior to your 3 meals (you’re at 6 glasses already) and 1 glass a half hour prior to your mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack (WHOO-HOO0! 8 altogether!)

Look, water is the safest, cheapest (hey, its free!), and most effective weight loss supplement on the market today.
