Radicchio, Pear, and Pine Nut Smoothie

Ingredients

8 each Medium pears, cored

1 cup Radicchio leaves, cut into 1-inch pieces

2 tbsp Pine nuts

14 tsp Finely grated lemon zest

14 cup Freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 cups Ice OR 1 cup filtered water

Garnish: 1-inch radicchio leaf pieces

Directions

  1. Place all of the ingredients, except the garnish in a high powered blender. Start on low, and then increase the speed to high. Blend until smooth.
