Ingredients

1/2 cup (120ml) coconut oil, melted

3 tbsp. honey

3 tbsp. apple sauce, unsweetened

Dry ingredients:

1 1/2 cup (225) rolled oats

1/4 cup (30g) almonds, chopped

5 Brazil nuts, chopped

1/4 cup (35g) sunflower seeds

2 tbsp. chia seeds

1 tbsp. ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with baking paper.

  2. Combine all the wet ingredients together in a large bowl. Now add the dry ingredients and mix well with a spatula until all the ingredients are well combined.

  3. Pour the granola mixture onto the baking sheet, place the tray in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Remove the tray from the oven halfway through and give the granola a stir, before returning the tray to the oven.

  4. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and set it aside to cool completely, before breaking up the granola and placing it in an airtight storage container. Keep in a cool place for up to 2 weeks.
